I grew up in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where I studied psychology at the “Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam”. I trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Sex Therapist at the Yanar Institute (a division of the Bar Ilan University). In addition I completed Gottman level one Couples Therapy training. As a member of the Israeli Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, I am also part of the staff of therapists at the “Shalom Bayit Project” of the outreach organization Hidabrut. Dr Justin Resnick PhD is my supervisor.
As an orthodox Jewish woman, I am open to all streams and colors of mankind, and I am familiar in the philosophy (hashkafa) and Jewish Law Requirements (halacha) of religious Judaism. I enjoy working with individuals, teens and adults, families, and couples that are dating, just married, or further along the marital road. I base my work on EFT (Emotional Focused Therapy), Imago, IFS (Internal Family Systems), the Strengths Based Approach (by Justin Resnick) and teachings of Chaim Ginnot and John Gottman.
When I need to relax I go to the seaside and watch the waves, both in sunshine and in rain. I am married and have five children.
