Ta'ir Wasserman teaches and lectures on intimacy and sexuality, in Israel, abroad, and over Zoom.
She is on the faculty of the PATH Center in Jerusalem and the Family Institute at Neve Yerushalayim.
Teaching professionals
Ta'ir teaches therapists, fertility counselors, kalla teachers, and others who meet these subjects in their work. Her advanced course on working with intimacy and sexuality in therapy runs over twelve weeks and covers sexual difficulties and their treatment, physiology, couples dynamics, sexual development and education, trauma and its effects on intimacy, and the particular questions that arise in working within the religious community.
The course asks something of its participants as well as giving them information. A professional who is not at ease with the subject cannot make a client feel free to speak about it, so the course includes honest personal work alongside the clinical material.
Alongside the course, Ta'ir gives workshops and single trainings in communities and institutions, for mental health professionals, college teachers, and others who meet these subjects in their work.
Speaking
Separately from her teaching, Ta'ir speaks to married women and to teenage girls, and gives single talks and workshops on specific topics.
